Loyal followers of the pop star are urging that a individual who jumped a barrier and seized the performer during Thursday's Wicked: For Good premiere be detained or removed from Singapore.

A widely shared clip depicts the individual from Australia shoving aside camera operators and rushing toward Grande while the actors made its way down a event pathway accompanied by supporters.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo quickly wrested the stunned actress away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being led away of the gathering by guards.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram recently that he was "let go after being taken in", though legal records showed that he was set to be present on the next day. It is unknown if he was faced legal action.

Record of Disruptions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has crashed a performance. His Instagram feed contains recordings of him interrupting other high-profile occasions, including breaching the performance area at the pop singer's Sydney performance in June this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers event in the same location last winter.

"There needs to be action taken against him as this is clearly a legal violation," commented an Instagram user, in a reply to a video Mr Wen posted of his actions.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" another Instagram user wrote.

Supporters Express Concern Over the Star's Well-being

Several followers accused Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had revealed dealing with PTSD after a devastating incident at the finale of her 2017 show in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and injuring hundreds.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" said another response on Instagram.

A number of attendees also criticised event staff at the premiere for not being vigilant enough; while others called for digital services to remove Mr Wen's content.

Reaction and Premiere Information

In videos shared widely, Grande looked startled when she was touched by the man. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed consoling her while Mr Wen was escorted away by guards.

Grande has remained silent on the incident, and the premiere activities carried on uninterrupted.

Many of supporters had assembled in a sea of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific premiere in a Singapore shopping center, including some who had waited for as long as eight hours before it began.

The movie, to be launched on 21 November, is the follow-up of a dual adaptation of the popular stage show Wicked, which focuses on the surprising bond between two very different characters.

The musical itself is a adaptation of the 1900 book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was dressed in a light pink sequin dress at the premiere while Erivo, who plays the villainous character, wore a black tube gown embroidered with roses.

They were joined by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the most successful motion picture of last year in the UK, and received ten award recognitions, earning several for best costume and artistic direction.
