“We don’t have a fixed goal,” a representative commented. “We’ll go for the maximum achievable. Of course, the more the merrier. Every penny goes out to Gaza.”

The reality in the region was described as its extreme devastation, with a overwhelming percentage of buildings said to be destroyed or damaged.

“Given that reality, a handful of millions won't make a massive dent. But I think what does make a difference is first of all making this cause better known and proving that another narrative exists.”
