In a unexpected crossover event that defies conventional predictions, the game developer has unveiled an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering free additional story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Disclosed

According to the official statement, "A mysterious confrontation draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where rumors of prohibited practices and monstrous changes resonate through the darkness." The storyline introduces a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a hidden group.

The mission focuses on "bizarre experiments and a monstrous foe" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Changes

The trailer highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview concludes with a powerful moment showing a character, presumably the hostage, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Prizes and Extra Material

Players who successfully complete the adventure will receive an exclusive katana alongside numerous artifacts concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

• Mikasa attire for Naoe
• Special implements
• Survey Corps steed

Third Free Story Addition

This update also introduces the game's third complimentary story addition, titled "A Puzzlement."
